Services

Commercial

Inspections

We identify common conflicts of interest, conduct property research, and perform a walk-through survey of the property.  A commercial inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a commercial property/s, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector, as well as address and identify potential safety concerns identified during the inspection.

Project Management Oversight

We apply a set of principles and processes to guide and improve the management of projects.  This ensures projects meet the needs of the organization through the use of standards, procedures, accountability, efficient allocation of resources, and continuous improvement.  It is the governance role that is designed to reduce project risk and improve outcomes, with the idea to stop repeating known mistakes and create consistency in project delivery across an organization.

Green Building

We communicate the benefits and advantages of green building practices, identify and describe green systems and features in commercial buildings, report upon energy-efficiency deficiencies, describe sustainable materials and practices, and define what makes up a healthy facility.

New Construction Phase

If you are building a property/s and you’re worried that the builder and their chosen contractors are cutting corners; we can help. We will work with you and the builders during the new construction, providing on-site inspections to evaluate and report on the installation practices for the major systems being installed, monitor safety practices and concerns, and verify the accuracy of what is requested and what is being constructed.

Annual

An annual inspection gives you the information you need to prevent small problems from becoming large and costly to repair.

One-Year Builder's Warranty

Before the one-year warranty expires, we can then again sweep through your property/s to do a thorough check of the interior and exterior, plumbing and electrical system, ventilation and structure and any other areas of concern.

Final Walk-Through

The primary purpose of a final walkthrough is to make certain that the property is in the condition in which you agreed to buy it, including whether agreed-on repairs, if any, were made, and that nothing has gone wrong with the property/s since you last looked at it.  A final walkthrough is performed before the settlement of the purchasing transaction.

Pre / Post Hurricane

Maintaining your property/s is important, and the high number of storms in our areas leads to extensive water and wind damage. We offer pre-storm inspections and assessments to ensure your property is prepared for hurricane season and other storm events. We also offer post-storm inspections to get you the repairs you need fast.

Residential

Inspections

A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.

Hurricane Wind Mitigation

Having your home wind mitigation approved can provide comfort in the safety and financial burden of your home during hurricanes and other severe weather events.  We will inspect the structural features of the building envelope,

communicate what factors are involved in reducing damage to existing buildings, identify and describe systems and components related to wind mitigation techniques, and work with your insurance company upon request.

Home Energy Audits

We perform a full energy audit conducted on a typical house according to a national building performance technical standard, including how to identify and report on moisture intrusion in residential buildings.

Four-Point

We provide a comprehensive inspection on the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning system, the roof and attic area, the home electrical system, and the water heater.

Pre / Post Seller Listing

A Move-In Certified® home has been pre-inspected, which means that the seller can confirm that there are no major systems in need of immediate repair or replacement, and no known safety hazards. A Move-In Certified® Seller Inspection informs you of any defects or problems with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates. Show prospective buyers that you are dealing in good faith.

That way there won’t be any nasty surprises after you move in.  We offer a complete walk-thru, follow up, and educational services on common components and systems throughout your home.
